On April 17, Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) launched themed campus opening month activities to simultaneouslyintroduce the professional contents of the disciplines online and offline. Through multidimensional interactive activities, including the president’s introduction about GTIIT, the demo classes entirely in English, the display of real live campus, and visiting top laboratories, the students and their parents could experience the dynamic developments of GTIIT in an immersive manner.

In 2016, GTIIT was officially established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is the first Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run university with the status of an independent legal entity, which introduces Israel's high-quality higher education resources. In 2018, GTIIT waslisted in Guangdong Province’s "High-level University Construction Plan", the youngest in the plan.

　　4月17日，广东以色列理工学院举办主题校园开放月活动，线上线下同步解读各学科的专业内涵，通过校长说广以、全英文模拟课堂、校园风采展示、参观顶尖实验室等多维互动的活动方式，让学生、家长沉浸式体验广以理工学院的魅力。

　　广东以色列理工学院于2016年由中国教育部批准正式设立，是我国第一所引进以色列优质高等教育资源的具有独立法人资格的中外合作大学。2018年，广东以色列理工学院被列入广东省“高水平大学建设计划”，成为入选该项计划最年轻的高校。
