On the morning of April 20, the inauguration ceremony of China (Shantou) Intellectual Property Protection Center and Shantou Intellectual Property Protection Center was held. It is not only the third national-level intellectual property protection center established in Guangdong Province with the approval of the state after Foshan and Shenzhen intellectual property protection centers, but also the first national-level intellectual property protection center in eastern, western and northern Guangdong, marking the leap of Shantou's intellectual property work tomove up a new stage.

The establishment of Shantou Intellectual Property Protection Center is an important platform for Shantou to integrate itself into China national development strategies, undertake the authorized national-level functions, and obtain the support of national policy and institutional resources, which is of great significance to improve the local business environment and promote the high-quality development of Shantou's economy. The patent application submitted after passing the pre-examination of Shantou Intellectual Property Protection Center can enjoy the "green channel" for expedited review by China National Intellectual Property Administration, which can greatly shorten the review period so that the innovation outcomes can be quickly protected by the law.

　　国家级知识产权保护中心在汕成立

　　4月20日上午，中国（汕头）知识产权保护中心、汕头市知识产权保护中心举行揭牌仪式。这是继佛山、深圳之后，广东省内第三个获批的地方国家级知识产权保护中心，也是粤东西北地区第一家国家级知识产权保护中心，标志着汕头知识产权工作跃升到一个新水平。

　　汕头保护中心的设立，是汕头融入国家发展战略，承接国家级职能委托，获得国家政策制度资源支持的一个重要平台，对优化地方营商环境、推动汕头经济高质量发展具有重要意义。经过汕头保护中心预审合格后提交的专利申请，能够享受国家知识产权局快速审查“绿色通道”，可大幅缩短审查周期，让创新成果快速得到法律保护。
