Recently, Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre cooperated with Singapore Nam Hwa Opera to create a new Chiu-Chow opera Number One Scholar Lin Daqin, which was written by young writer Huang Jianfeng of Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre, composed by young composer Chen Huanze of Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre, directed by Singapore Nam Hwa Opera and performed by local actors in Singapore. The Opera is the first cooperation achievement after Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre set up an overseas Chiu-Chow opera inheritance center in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. It will be performed at the "Stepping out of the Garden” Coming-of-Age Ceremony in Singapore in the second half of this year, for the purpose of promoting the fine traditional Chinese culture to take root and thrive overseas.

　　潮剧《状元林大钦》将于新加坡“出花园”成人节展演

　　近日，广东潮剧院与新加坡南华潮剧社合作新创了潮剧《状元林大钦》，由广东潮剧院青年作家黄剑丰编剧、青年作曲家陈焕泽作曲，新加坡南华潮剧社导演、新加坡当地演员演出。该剧是广东潮剧院在新马泰设立海外潮剧传承中心后的首个合作成果，将于今年下半年在新加坡“出花园”成人节公演，推动中华优秀传统文化在海外扎根并开花结果。
