As an important part of the tunnel ventilation system, the wind tower has been set up respectively on the south and north banks of Shantou Bay Tunnel. The wind tower on the south bank is located on the west side of Shantou Natatorium, overlooking Queshi Beauty Spot in the west and Binhai New Town in the east. The theme of the wind tower on the south bank is the gateway of “Maritime Silk Road”, which adopts a more modern form and structure, expressing the ripples and soft and graceful images of sponge and silk by twisting and deforming the glass body. On May 18, the construction of the glass curtain wall of the wind tower on the south bank of Shantou Bay Tunnel was completed. The wind tower on the south bank will become a beautiful sight to behold in the inner bay.

汕头海湾隧道南岸风塔完美呈现

　　作为隧道通风系统重要组成部分，汕头海湾隧道在南北岸各设立一座风塔。南岸风塔位于市游泳跳水馆西侧，西眺礐石风景区，东望滨海新城。南岸风塔的主题是“海丝”门户，采用较现代的形构手法，通过对玻璃形体的扭转、变形，表达了海绵与丝绸的波纹和柔美的意向。5月18日，汕头海湾隧道南岸风塔玻璃幕墙施工全面完成，南岸风塔将成为内海湾一道亮丽的风景线。
