On June 21, the press briefing of The 2022 China Digital Economy Innovation and Development Conference was held in Beijing, announcing that The 2022 China Digital Economy Innovation and Development Conference will be held from July 7 to 9 in Shantou City, Guangdong Province,which is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and is jointly organized by the People's Government of Shantou City, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Communications Administration, China Industry and Information Technology Publishing & Media Group, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and China Center for Information Industry Development.
With the theme of “Focusing on Digital Economy, Connecting Overseas Chinese, and Creating A Better Future Together -- Building A Pilot Area of International Cooperation in Digital Economy”, this conference will give full play to the advantages of Guangdong Province as a major province in digital economy, Shantou as a "hometown of overseas Chinese", and international communication infrastructure, spare no effort to create an important window for the international cooperation and innovation of China's digital economy and a national platform of digital economy in opening up and serving overseas Chinese, and promote the high-quality development of China’s digital economy. At present, the preparations for this conference are progressing in an orderly manner.

首届中国数字经济创新发展大会新闻发布会在京召开
6月21日，2022中国数字经济创新发展大会新闻发布会在北京召开，宣布由工业和信息化部、广东省人民政府共同主办，汕头市人民政府、广东省工业和信息化厅、广东省通信管理局、中国工信出版传媒集团、中国信息通信研究院、工业和信息化部电子第五研究所、中国电子信息产业发展研究院共同承办的2022中国数字经济创新发展大会定于7月7日至9日在广东省汕头市举办。
本次大会以“聚数联侨 共创未来——打造数字经济国际合作先行区”为主题，充分发挥广东省数字经济发展大省的产业基础优势、汕头市“侨乡”和国际通信基础设施优势，着力打造数字经济国际合作创新发展的重要窗口和数字经济对外开放服务华侨的国家级平台，推动我国数字经济高质量发展。目前，大会各项筹备工作有序推进。
