On the morning of July 30, Shantou China Merchants Port Group held the delivery ceremony of the 6,000-horsepower tugboat "Shantou Port Tugboat 1" in Shantou Port Guang'ao Port Area, marking that the most powerful tugboat in eastern Guangdong was officially put into use.

"Shantou Port Tugboat 1" has a total length of 37.6 meters, a width of 11 meters and a depth of 5 meters. It is a high-power full-turn coastal tugboat with 6,000 horsepower, mainly used for the docking and departure of large ships in the open wharf outside the port, and it is suitable for navigation, push, towing and reversed towing in China's coastal navigation area. It can meet the requirements of escort, berthing and departing of large container ships and offshore facilities. And it can also be used as a towing tugboat in the coastal navigation area. After "Shantou Port Tugboat 1" is put into use, it will greatly improve the towing force and emergency rescue capability of the tugboat fleet of Shantou China Merchants Port Group, further provide security and services for large ships entering and leaving Shantou Port, and boost port business and local economic development.

　　粤东最大功率拖轮投入使用

　　7月30日上午，汕头招商局港口在汕头港广澳港区举行6000马力拖轮“汕港拖1”交船仪式，标志着这艘粤东最大功率拖轮正式投入使用。

　　“汕港拖1”全长37.6米，型宽11米，型深5米，是拥有6000马力的大功率全回转沿海拖轮，主要用于港口外开放式码头大型船舶的停靠和驶离，适合在中国沿海航区航行、顶推、拖带和倒拖作业，满足大型集装箱船及海上设施的护航、靠离泊位作业的要求，并可兼作沿海航区拖带拖轮。“汕港拖1”投入使用后将极大提升汕头招商局港口拖轮船队的拖力水平和应急抢险救助能力，进一步为大型船舶进出汕头港提供安全保障和服务，助力港口业务和地方经济发展。
