On the morning of August 4, the unveiling ceremony of Shantou Local Chronicles Station was held in Shantou Book Purchasing Center.

The Station is located on the 1st floor of Shantou Book Purchasing Center. It is the first local chronicles station set up in Shantou. It displays a number of local situation books compiled and published by Shantou’s departments of historical records in recent years, as well as nearly 200 volumes of the Collection of Guangdong Chronicles in the Past Dynasties  donated by the Office of Local Chronicles of Guangdong Province, which are highly informative and are highly valued for carrying forward China’s excellent traditional culture, enhancing the civilization level of the citizens and promoting the establishment of the national civilized city.

　　汕头首个方志驿站揭牌

　　8月4日上午，汕头市方志驿站揭牌仪式在汕头购书中心举行。

　　该驿站设于汕头购书中心1楼，是我市建设的首个方志驿站，展示有近年来全市史志部门编纂出版的一批地情书籍，并有省地方志办赠送的《广东历代方志集成》近200册，内容丰富，对弘扬中华优秀传统文化，提升市民文明素养，推动文明城市创建极具价值。
