At present, the Phase III Project of East Campus of Shantou University is being fully brought to a successful end, and the construction workers are sparing no effort to accelerate the construction to ensure that the East Campus will be opened this fall. If having a bird's-eye view, the "Flying Waves" of the gymnasium on the East Campus of Shantou University faces the sea, with marine cultural features in full view, which is offshore across from Nan’ao Island, becoming a new landmark in Shantou Bay.

　　汕头湾新地标：“飞舞的浪花”

　　目前，汕头大学东校区三期项目已全面打响“收官战”，参建人员正开足马力，加快建设，确保东校区在今年秋季启用。从空中俯瞰，汕头大学东校区体育场馆“飞舞的浪花”面朝大海，海洋文化特色尽览眼中，与南澳岛隔海相望，成为汕头湾的新地标。
