Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology of People's Republic of China released the 2021 annual list of national maker spaces. Shantou Chaochuang Zhigu Maker Space was included in the list, becoming the fourth national maker space in Shantou City.

Chaochuang Zhigu Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as the "Park") is located in Longhu District, Shantou City, with a gross floor area of nearly 8,000 square meters. The Park cooperates with professional service agencies to provide entrepreneurs with a platform for exchange and sharing, product display and project roadshows by providing venues and holding events. In addition, the Park can also provide startups in the embryonic and growth stages with financial services, business registration, legal affairs, policy-based subsidy application, and other facilities, for the purpose of helping them grow healthily and rapidly. So far, the Park has organized nearly 100 service activities of various kinds, incubated more than 120 entrepreneurial teams and startups, obtained more than 600 intellectual property rights, and helped some startups secure investment and financing of more than RMB 8 million.

　　汕头新增1家国家级众创空间

　　近期，科技部发布2021年度国家备案众创空间名单，汕头市潮创智谷众创空间入选其中，成为汕头市第4家国家级众创空间。

　　潮创智谷产业园位于汕头市龙湖区，建筑总面积近8000平方米。园区与专业服务机构合作，通过提供场地、举办活动等方式，为创业者提供交流分享、产品展示和项目路演的平台。此外，还能为处于萌芽期和成长期的初创企业提供金融服务、工商注册、法律法务、补贴政策申请等便利，帮助其健康快速成长。园区至今累计开展各类服务活动近百场次，孵化创业团队及初创企业超过120家，获得知识产权超600项，协助一批初创企业累计获得800多万元投融资。
