The monthly container throughput at Guang'ao Port Area of Shantou Port exceeded 160,000 TEUs for the first time in September, setting a historical record of 162,000 TEUs. Among others, the average single-pole operation efficiency of the liner reached 26.95M/H, and 9,587 TEUs were operated through the new processes of "direct loading and unloading" and "loading while unloading", all breaking historical records. At the same time, the automated construction of container operations was vigorously advanced. The first batch of 6 automated rail cranes was invested, accelerating the construction of smart port. These six automated rail cranes are expected to be commissioned and put into use by the end of this year. At that time, they will give full play to the advantages of intelligent and safe equipment, greatly improve port operation capacity and production efficiency, and further enhance the core competitiveness of Guang'ao Port Area.

　　汕头港广澳港区集装箱月吞吐量创新高

　　汕头港广澳港区9月份集装箱月吞吐量首次突破16万标箱大关，创造了16.2万标箱的历史纪录，其中班轮平均单杆作业效率达到26.95M/H，直装直卸与边装边卸新工艺共操作9587标箱，均打破历史纪录。同时，大力推进集装箱作业自动化建设，首批投入6台自动化轨道吊，为智慧港口建设按下“加速键”。这6台自动化轨道吊预计年底完成调试投入使用，届时将发挥设备智能、安全的优势，大幅提升港口作业能力和生产效率，进一步提升广澳港区的核心竞争力。
