On the afternoon of October 18, Shantou launched the 4th "Mayor Cup" Industrial Design Competition, for the purpose of further making the brand of "Design Shantou" shine and contributing to building a more competitive modern industrial system.

Through two main events participated by the Product Design Group and the Concept Design Group, the Industrial Design Competition consisted of five special competitions: textiles and clothing design, creative toy design, "Shantou Gift" design, "overseas Chinese" theme design, and "Shantou Craftsman" selection. The Competition has 87 awards, including gold, silver, bronze and innovation awards. The deadline for the collection of works is October 31.

　　汕头启动第四届“市长杯”工业设计大赛

　　10月18日下午，我市启动第四届“市长杯”工业设计大赛，进一步打造“设计汕头”品牌，助力构建更具竞争力的现代产业体系。

　　本届大赛通过产品设计组、概念设计组两个主赛事，在纺织服装设计、玩具创意设计、“汕头礼物”设计、“侨”主题设计、“汕头工匠”评选五大专项赛开展工业设计大比拼。大赛设金奖、银奖、铜奖、创新奖共87个奖项，作品征集截止日期为10月31日。
