Currently, Shantou is speeding up the construction of Zhenbang Road Food Street to provide tourists and Chao people at home and abroad with a "one-stop" place for experiencing Chaoshan food culture. Under the organization and promotion of Shantou Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. and Shantou Catering Industry Association, more than 20 Chaoshan cuisine brands have been confirmed to be settled down on the Food Street. Up to now, the finishing and decoration of the stores on the Food Street has been successively started, which are scheduled to be put into trial operation on New Year's Day 2023.

In order to encourage enterprises to enter into operation and gradually foster and promote the golden brand of Zhenbang Road Food Street, all the residing enterprises this time can enjoy the preferential policy during the period "business form development", that is, "no required rent payment for the first 2 years, and half rent for the next 3 years", and the store operators will also receive a certain subsidy for the finishing and decoration of the stores. In addition, the construction and improvement of supporting facilities such as temporary parking lots, public toilets, emission reduction and sewage facilities, and visual street guidance systems that serve the Food Street is being accelerated. Shantou Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. has started the work related to the construction of a small public parking lot and a star-level tourist toilet on Jixiang Lane (next to Zhenbang Road), which are expected to be completed in mid-December.

　　汕头镇邦路美食街店面装修施工陆续启动

　　当前，我市正加快建设镇邦路美食街，为游客和海内外潮人提供“一站式”潮汕美食文化体验地。在市旅投公司和市餐饮业协会的组织推动下，已有20多家潮汕美食品牌确定入驻。目前，各店面装修施工陆续启动，争取在2023年元旦试营业。

　　为支持企业入驻经营，逐步培育打响镇邦路美食街品牌，本次入驻企业均享受到“前2年免收租金、后3年租金减半”的“业态培育期”优惠，门店整修施工也将获得一定补贴。此外，服务美食街的临时停车场、公共卫生间、排气排污、街面导视系统等配套设施正在加紧建设完善中。市旅投公司已启动吉祥里（镇邦路旁）小型公共停车场、星级旅游厕建设有关工作，预计12月中旬完成。
