On November 22, the topping-out of the main structure of the Relocation Reconstruction Project of Shantou Central Hospital, a provincial key project, was fully completed, and the Project officially entered the secondary structuring and finishing & decoration stage.

Located in the Tagangwei area of East Coastal New Town in the Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone, the Relocation Reconstruction Project of Shantou Central Hospital registers a total land area of about 200 mu, a gross floor area of 534,000 square meters, and a total number of 3,000 beds planned. The Project focuses on building six major medical centers: the oncology medical center, the cardiovascular medical center, the neurological disease medical center, the trauma medical center, the urological medical center, and the women and children's medical center, and establishing an international medical department, for the purpose of providing high-quality medical services to people in eastern Guangdong and to overseas Chinese at home and abroad. Meanwhile, by adopting the way of "combining normal time with emergency", the Project builds a base for the treatment of major infectious diseases, so that the Hospital can treat the patients with critical infectious diseases during the epidemic.

　　汕头市中心医院易地重建项目主体结构封顶

　　11月22日，省重点工程项目——汕头市中心医院易地重建项目主体结构实现全面封顶，正式进入二次结构及装饰装修阶段。

　　该项目位于华侨试验区东海岸新城塔岗围片区，总用地面积近200亩，总建筑面积53.4万平方米，规划床位3000张。项目将重点打造六大医疗中心：肿瘤医疗中心、心血管疾病医疗中心、神经疾病医疗中心、创伤医疗中心、泌尿疾病医疗中心、妇产儿中心，并设置国际医疗部，为粤东地区人民及海内外侨胞提供优质医疗服务。同时采用“平疫结合”方式，建设重大传染病救治基地，在疫情时可收治危重症传染病患者。
