Recently, the Station No. 2 at Guangdong Wind Power Seafront Test Base located at Haojiang District Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park in Shantou, which can meet the requirements for testing 20 MW offshore wind turbines, was announced as completed and was soon to be put into use.

Since this year, under the guidance of the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province, China Southern Power Grid Guangdong Power Grid Corporation has planned and constructed the first domestic wind power seafront test base in Haojiang District, Shantou City. It is planned that 4 test stations will be built in the Base, which can provide grid-connection tests and model certification for large (up to 24 MW) offshore wind turbines, and meet the greatest demand for domestic R&D and application of offshore wind turbines during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. In the future, the Base will be built into the certification and testing service platform and public testing platform for offshore wind turbines, for the purpose of filling the "gap" in domestic high-capacity wind turbine testing, and supporting the high-quality development of new energy industries such as wind power.

　　广东省风电临海试验基地2号机位建成

　　近日，在位于我市濠江区海上风电产业园的广东省风电临海试验基地，可满足20兆瓦级海上风电机型检测需求的第2个机位宣告竣工，即将投入使用。

　　今年以来，南方电网广东电网公司在广东省能源局的指导下，于汕头濠江区规划建设国内首个风电临海试验基地。基地共规划建设4个试验机位，可为最大24兆瓦大型海上风电机组提供并网试验和型式认证，满足“十四五”期间国内研发应用机型的最大需求。未来，该基地将打造成为海上风电机组认证检测服务平台与公共试验平台，填补国内大容量风机检测的“缺口”，支撑风电等新能源产业高质量发展。
