From December 17 to 19, the 7th Cross-Strait Orchid Fair was held at Guangdong Yuandong Guolan Cross-Strait Exchange Base in Chenghai District, Shantou City.

Shantou has superior natural conditions, a long history of orchid cultivation, and a brilliant orchid culture. Guangdong Yuandong Guolan Cross-Strait Exchange Base has successfully hosted six sessions of Cross-Strait Orchid Fairs, and actively promoted technical cooperation, variety exchanges and modern agricultural cooperation in orchid cultivation between Shantou and Taiwan and even between both sides of the Straits. A total of 150 pots of Chinese orchids of eight varieties including Cymbidium, Cymbidium longibracteatum and Cymbidium goeringii were exhibited at this year's fair, attracting more than 100 orchid cultivation experts and orchid enthusiasts from both sides of the Straits. During the Fair, online exchanging and sharing were also conducted on the dissemination of orchid culture as well as the cultivating and variety identification of orchid through "cloud communication".

　　第七届海峡两岸兰花博览会在汕头市举行

　　12月17日至19日，第七届海峡两岸兰花博览会在位于我市澄海区的远东国兰广东海峡两岸交流基地举行。

　　汕头自然条件优越，养兰历史悠久，兰花文化积淀深厚。远东国兰广东海峡两岸交流基地已成功举办了六届海峡两岸兰花博览会，积极促进汕台两地乃至海峡两岸兰花种养技术合作、品种交流和现代农业合作。本届博览会共展出蕙兰、春剑、春兰等国兰八大品类的兰花150盆，吸引了两岸兰花种养专家及兰花爱好者100多人参加。线上还通过“云交流”方式，围绕兰花文化传播、兰花种养、品种识别等进行交流分享。
