On December 31, 2022, Shantou's city tourism song was officially released, so the song Shantou named after the city was debuted simultaneously on major music platforms.

For the purpose of publicizing and promoting Shantou's tourism resources and building up its tourism image, Shantou has tapped the full potential of local youth music groups. Through on-the-spot investigation, these groups have created the song Shantou by combining Shantou's proud history and brilliant culture with popular music elements from such aspects as coastal characteristics, preservation of intangible cultural heritage, and Shantou's cuisine. The overall style of the song is lively and vigorous. The song is created in the way of storytelling and singing that is favored by young people, and is interspersed with unique a cappella expressions and local dialects, which make the song more recognizable. In the song MV, natural landscapes such as Nan'ao Island, Small Park, and Mayu Island are stunningly displayed; historical buildings such as century-old sotto portico, Swatow General Post Office, and former site of Shantou Station of Chaoshan Railway shine with extraordinary splendor. The new business forms of tourism such as home stay, surfing, and camping have an astonishing visual intensity, and Shantou's cuisine make people's mouth water.

　　2022年12月31日，汕头城市旅游歌曲正式发布，以城市命名的歌曲《汕头》在各大音乐平台同步推出。

　　为宣传推广汕头旅游资源，塑造汕头旅游形象，我市充分挖掘本地青年音乐团体潜力，通过实地考察采风，从滨海特色、非遗传承、舌尖美食等方面，将历史文化底蕴与流行音乐元素相融合，创作了歌曲《汕头》。歌曲整体风格活泼朝气，采用年轻人喜欢的说唱方式，穿插独特的阿卡贝拉表现形式，加入了地方方言，使这首歌更具辨识度。在歌曲MV中，南澳岛、小公园、妈屿岛等自然景观惊艳亮相，百年骑楼、老邮局、潮汕铁路等历史建筑绽放异彩，民宿、冲浪、露营等旅游新业态冲击视觉，舌尖上的美食更是让人垂涎三尺。
