During the Spring Festival holiday, Nan'ao Island tourism in Shantou once again fulfilled potential. According to the 2023 Spring Festival Big Data Report released by Mafengwo, with the theme of "Island Resort", Shantou Nan'ao Island was selected as one of China's Top 10 Mainstream Tourist Attractions; according to the 2023 Spring Festival Consumption Report released by Xiaohongshu, Nan'ao Island became the trending first "island" and established the brand of island tourism.

During the Spring Festival, the number and scale of visitors to Nan'ao Island grew explosively. According to preliminary estimates, from January 21 to 27, more than 500,000 people visited the island in Nan'ao County; the comprehensive tourism revenue reached about RMB 177 million.

　　春节假期，汕头南澳岛旅游再度出彩。马蜂窝《2023年春节大数据报告》显示，南澳岛以“海岛度假”主题入选为全国十大热门景点；小红书《2023春节消费报告》显示，南澳成为热搜第一“岛”，打响了海岛旅游品牌。

　　春节期间，南澳入岛旅游人数和规模呈爆发式增长。初步测算，1月21日至27日，南澳县入岛超50万人次；旅游综合收入约1.77亿元。
