Recently, Shantou's first public security  service center for foreign talents was set up and operated in Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Experimental Zone (hereinafter referred to as “Shantou Experimental Zone”).

The service center is located in the government service center in Building Three, Baoneng Era Bay. The Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Shantou Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Exit-Entry Administration Brigade of Longhu District Public Security Bureau would assign police personnel to station at the service center, aiming to point-to-point services for overseas Chinese people and foreign talents in Shantou Experimental Zone: publicizing the entry-exit laws and regulations and the latest policies; renewing the visa; pre-accepting the application for the stay or residence permit; and providing service on call. At the same time, the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Shantou Municipal Public Security Bureau would hold consultation meetings from time to time as needed to understand the needs of overseas Chinese people and foreign talents in Shantou, follow up the services in a timely manner, provide special contact information, assign special personnel to accept consultation at any time, and promote the antecedent and refined exit-entry services of public security agency.

　　汕头首个公安机关外籍人才服务站设立

　　近日，我市首个公安机关外籍人才服务站在汕头华侨经济文化合作试验区设立运行。

　　该服务站设于宝能时代湾3栋政务服务大厅，由市公安局出入境管理支队和龙湖公安分局出入境管理大队派出民警每月定期驻点服务，旨在面向华侨试验区广大华侨华人、外籍人才提供点对点出入境法律法规和最新政策宣传，以及签证延期和停居留证件预受理和上门服务。同时，市公安局出入境管理支队将根据需要不定期召开咨询座谈会，了解华侨华人和在汕外籍人才诉求，及时跟进服务，并提供专门联络方式，指定专员随时接受咨询，推进公安出入境服务前置化、精细化。
