On the evening of March 4, the “Zhanglin Fire Temple Fair – Let’s Energize the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage'” was held in Dongli Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City. Through “intangible cultural heritage” performances, local delicacies and Chaoshan cultural and creative exhibition, the citizens were able to appreciate the charm of "intangible cultural heritage" and the unique cultural appeal of Shantou from zero distance.

The Fire Temple Fair is a unique convention in the Zhanglin area of Dongli Town in the Chaoshan region. It is an important part of the history and culture of Zhanglin Old Harbor. The event kicked off with the magnificent Centipede Dance and a powerful and the mighty and heroic Yingge Dance. The representative items of national, provincial, municipal, and district “intangible cultural heritage” appeared on stage. After the opening ceremony, the representative items of “intangible cultural heritage”, including Ximen Centipede Dance, Chaoyang Longjing's Zhongjing Yingge Dance, and Double Biting Goose Dance, were performed in turns. The wonderful animal dances passed through the Xinxing Street with high red lanterns and the bustling Zhongshan Road, energizing Zhanglin Old Harbor again.

　　汕头樟林火帝庙会文化集市打造“非遗”文化盛宴

　　3月4日晚，我市澄海区东里镇举办“樟林火帝庙会——让‘非遗’火起来”文化集市活动，通过“非遗”表演、特色美食及潮汕文创展示，让市民群众零距离感受“非遗”的魅力、感受汕头独特的文化魅力。

　　游火帝民俗在潮汕地区为东里镇樟林一带独有的特色习俗，是樟林古港历史文化的重要组成部分。活动以气势磅礴的蜈蚣舞、威武豪迈的英歌舞拉开序幕，国家级、省、市、区“非遗”项目代表登台亮相。开幕式后，“非遗”代表性项目西门蜈蚣舞、潮阳龙井忠精英歌舞、双咬鹅舞轮番展演，精彩的动物舞蹈穿过红灯笼高挂的新兴街和热闹非凡的中山路，让历史沉淀浓厚的樟林古港再次活起来、火起来。
