On April 1, nearly 1,000 people of Chaoshan High-speed Railway from Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations visited Shantou. They personally viewed the latest economic and social development of Shantou, felt the cultural charm of Chaozhou as the cradle of overseas Chinese, expressed their nostalgia and compatriot friendship, closely exchanged and cooperated with the local people, and sought common development plans.

After arriving in Shantou, the delegation was divided into several groups and visited many places in Shantou. On the afternoon of April 1, the delegation visited the Chaoshan History and Culture Expo Center to gain a deep understanding of Shantou's urban evolution and development achievements, and feel the strong atmosphere of Chaoshan culture. Subsequently, the main members of the delegation visited the 22nd China Shantou (Chenghai) International Toys and Gifts Expo and they praised the development of the toy industry of Chenghai, Shantou. At night, the main members of the delegation walked around the historical and cultural district of Small Park, and they were excited about the bustling scene in front of them.

Zhuang Xuehai, executive vice chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations, said that after returning to Hong Kong, he would vigorously promote and introduce the new development and new face of Shantou to the people around him, and he believed that more enterprises and businesses would come to Shantou to seek business opportunities for development and cooperation.

　　香港潮属社团总会近千人莅汕参观访问

　　4月1日，香港潮属社团总会“潮汕高铁访问团”近千人莅汕参观访问，实地参观汕头经济社会发展新面貌，感受潮侨文化魅力，畅叙乡情乡谊，密切交流合作，共谋发展大计。

　　访问团抵达汕头后，分组深入我市多地进行参观。4月1日下午，访问团参观了潮汕历史文化博览中心，深入了解汕头城市沿革和发展成就，感受浓厚的潮汕文化气息。随后，访问团主要嘉宾来到第22届中国汕头（澄海）国际玩具礼品博览会现场参观，为汕头澄海玩具产业的发展点赞。夜晚，访问团主要嘉宾在小公园历史文化街区边走边逛，眼前热闹繁华的景象，让大家倍感欣喜。

　　香港潮属社团总会常务副主席庄学海表示，回到香港后会向身边人大力宣传介绍汕头的新发展、新面貌，相信有更多企业商家会来到汕头，寻求发展合作的商机。
