On May 7, Mayor Zeng Fengbao met with Knut Øyvind Granli, Acting Consul General of the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Guangzhou, who was visiting Shantou for attending the symposium on cutting-edge technologies for offshore wind power vessels. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation in the offshore wind power industry.

Zeng Fengbao warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and hoped that high-quality offshore wind power enterprises in Norway would establish deeper and closer cooperative relationships with wind power companies in Shantou, and promote the two sides to achieve cooperation results on a wider range of fields. Knut Øyvind Granli said that Shantou has vast sea areas and abundant wind resources, and holds an important position and superior advantages in port construction and wind power industry development. He hoped that in the future, the two sides would stay focused on the goals, leverage their advantages, and strengthen cooperation, for the purpose of promoting the win-win development of the offshore wind power industry in the two places. During the event, three Norwegian offshore wind power companies introduced their situation and exchanged cooperation intentions.

　　5月7日，市长曾风保会见莅汕出席海上风电船舶前沿技术研讨会的挪威王国驻广州总领事馆代总领事关睿利一行，双方就海上风电产业合作进行深入交流。

　　曾风保对访问团一行的到来表示热烈欢迎，希望挪威海上风电优质企业与汕头风电企业建立更加深入密切的合作关系，推动双方取得更大范围、更广领域的合作成果。关睿利表示，汕头拥有广阔海域和丰富风力资源，在港口建设、风电产业发展等方面具有重要地位和突出优势，希望接下来双方围绕目标、发挥优势、加强合作，推动两地海上风电产业实现双赢发展。活动中，三家挪威海上风电企业分别介绍了企业情况并交流合作意向。
