On the afternoon of May 26, the A-F buildings and ancillary facilities of East Campus (Phase III Project) of Shantou University successfully passed final acceptance, marking that the construction of Phases I-III Projects of east campus of Shantou University was fully completed. With the full completion and operation of Phase III Project -- experimental teaching areas, it is estimated that the number of students enrolled at the east campus of Shantou University will reach nearly 10,000 this year.

The A-F buildings and ancillary facilities of East Campus (Phase III Project) of Shantou University are teaching experimental areas, with a gross floor area of about 229,300 square meters. The construction contents include the library and learning center (Building A), the multi-purpose cultural service center (Building B), the university administration office building (Building C), the experimental group of schools (departments) (Building D), the public teaching experimental building (Building E), the south campus gate (Building F), and supporting outdoor projects.

　　汕大东校区一至三期建设全面完成

　　5月26日下午，汕头大学东校区（三期）A-F栋楼栋及附属配套顺利通过竣工验收，标志着汕大东校区一至三期全面完成。随着三期教学实验区的全面建成并投入使用，预计今年汕大东校区在校学生规模将达近万名。

　　汕头大学东校区三期项目A-F栋楼栋及附属配套为教学实验区，总建筑面积约22.93万平方米。建设内容包括A栋图书馆及学习中心、B栋多功能文化服务中心、C栋校行政办公楼、D栋实验院系组团、E栋公共教学实验楼、F栋南校门以及配套室外工程。
