On May 26, the 2023 Summer China (Guangdong) Folk Arts and Crafts Fair and the 12th Guangdong Folk Arts and Crafts High-quality Works Exhibition, which were jointly organized by Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association, Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Guangdong Folk Literature and Art Association, were held in Guangzhou. Shantou selected works by 16 artists to participate in the exhibition, showcasing the rich achievements and profound heritage of Chaoshan culture and art.

Shantou's works exhibited in this Folk Arts and Crafts High-quality Works Exhibition cover various art categories such as paper-cutting, inlaid porcelain, embroidery, wood carving, shell-inlaid ornaments, eggshell carvings, colored porcelain, and theatrical helmets. The Harmonious and Happy Overseas Chinese Hometown – 100-Meter Paper-Cut Scroll for Presenting Shantou's Allure exhibited in the exhibition area of high-quality works, the creation of which was organized by Shantou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Shantou Folk Literature and Art Association, is not only China's first paper-cut scroll showing the culture of the hometown of overseas Chinese from multiple perspectives, but also the longest paper-cut work in Guangdong Province so far.

　　汕头艺术家作品亮相2023夏季中国（广东）民间工艺博览会

　　5月26日，由中国民间文艺家协会、广东省文学艺术界联合会、广东省民间文艺家协会联合主办的2023夏季中国（广东）民间工艺博览会暨第十二届广东省民间工艺精品展在广州举行，我市选送了16位艺术家的作品参展，展示了潮汕文化艺术的丰硕成果和深厚底蕴。

　　本次民间工艺精品展我市参展作品涵盖剪纸、嵌瓷、刺绣、木雕、镶贝摆件、蛋雕、彩瓷和戏剧盔头等艺术门类。现场精品展区展出了由我市文联、市民协组织创作的《和美侨乡——汕头风采百米剪纸长卷》，是目前全国第一幅多角度展示侨乡风采的剪纸长卷，也是迄今为止广东省最长的一幅剪纸作品。
