On the evening of May 30, Embroidered Tiger, the newly compiled historical Teochew opera, was staged at the Mei Lanfang Grand Theater in Beijing, marking the beginning of the nationwide tour of Lin Yanyun's Teochew opera masterpiece repertoire "Yan Language • Teochew Rhymes". The actors' exhilarating performances touched the hearts of the townspeople of Chaoshan origin in Beijing and the audience in the capital, showing the essence and artistic charm of the time-honored Teochew opera.

This nationwide tour of Teochew opera received strong support from Chaoshan chambers of commerce all over China. Following her first stop in Beijing, Lin Yanyun, winner of the Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, will bring her award-winning Teochew opera repertoire, including Li Shangyin and Embroidered Tiger, to tour cities such as Qingdao, Harbin, Xinjiang, Shanghai, and Huizhou, and with the help of cultural carriers such as Teochew opera, tell well the stories of China, Guangdong and Shantou.

　　“燕语·潮韵”全国巡演开启

　　5月30日晚，新编历史潮剧《绣虎》在北京梅兰芳大剧院上演，拉开“燕语·潮韵”林燕云潮剧精品剧目全国巡演序幕。演员们荡气回肠的演出，打动了在京潮籍乡亲和首都观众的心，展示了潮剧这一古老剧种的精粹和艺术魅力。

　　此次潮剧全国巡演活动得到全国各地潮汕商会的大力支持。继北京首站后，中国戏剧梅花奖得主林燕云将携潮剧获奖剧目《李商隐》《绣虎》，赴青岛、哈尔滨、新疆、上海、惠州等城市巡演，借助潮剧等文化载体，讲好中国故事、广东故事、汕头故事。
