On the morning of June 10, the opening ceremony of Shantou Industrial Museum was held. The Museum is established based on the factory area of Shantou AD Factory, covering an area of about 1,000 square meters. It consists of two exhibition halls, a historical exhibition hall and a contemporary exhibition hall. It records the years of endeavors of Shantou industry since the opening of the port in 1860. It displays nearly 1,000 physical objects and related literature of Shantou industry in the process from traditional handicrafts to modern industrial civilization in modern times, showing the historical context of Shantou's industrial development.

　　汕头工业博物馆开馆

　　6月10日上午，汕头工业博物馆举行开馆仪式。该馆依托汕头公元厂厂区设立，面积约1000平方米，分为历史展厅、当代展厅两个展厅，记录自1860开埠以来汕头工业走过的峥嵘岁月，陈列近代从传统手工业到现代工业文明进程中的汕头工业实物以及相关文献资料近千件，呈现了汕头工业发展的历史脉络。
