On the afternoon of July 22, the 2023 Miss Scuba Diver East Guangdong Division Selection Campaign was officially launched in Shantou.

During the campaign, a series of events would be held along the coastlines in Shantou's Nan'ao Island, East Coast Bay, Neihai Bay, Beishan Bay, and Mayu Island. The selection competition would be organically combined with the showcasing of the beauty of Shantou as a coastal city, so that the public can learn more about and better understand Shantou. At the same time, the campaign would attract more people to pay attention to the marine environment, actively participate in marine environmental protection and civilized tourism, and promote the integrated development of “tourism + culture + sports” in Shantou.

　　7月22日下午，2023国际潜水小姐大赛粤东赛区选拔活动在汕头正式启动。

　　本次活动将在汕头南澳岛、东海岸、内海湾、北山湾、妈屿岛等海岸沿线举办赛事，将选拔比赛和展现汕头滨海城市之美有机结合，让公众更好地认识汕头、了解汕头。同时，吸引更多人关注海洋环境，积极参与到海洋保护、文明旅游中来，助推汕头“旅游+文化+体育”融合发展。
