On August 4, the 3rd Maritime Silk Road Wushu Culture Festival and Wushu Elite Competition will be held at the Bao’ao International Toy City in Shantou. The contestants from five cities including Shantou, Meizhou, Shanwei, Chaozhou, and Jieyang, as well as those from more than 10 countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road, will “be in terms of making friends with martial arts (gongfu)” and perform stunning martial arts.

It is introduced that this competition is rich in content and has many competitive events. The contestants include not only martial arts masters who have been famous for a long time, but also martial arts “beginners” who are just on the threshold of martial arts. It is a great pageant of martial arts with many participants and a rich variety of boxing contests.

　　8月4日，第三届海上丝绸之路武术文化节暨武术精英大赛将在汕头宝奥国际玩具城举行，来自汕头、梅州、汕尾、潮州、揭阳等五市以及海上丝绸之路沿线10多个国家和地区的选手们将“以武会友”，一展风采。

　　据介绍，本次大赛内容丰富，竞赛项目多，参赛选手不仅有成名已久的武术大家，也有刚接触武术门槛的武术“新手”，是一次规模大、参赛人数多、拳种丰富的武术盛会。
