At 10 a.m. on October 1st, 2023 Shantou National Day Parade kicked off with the vigorous and powerful song “Ode to the Motherland”. Fifteen floats, 32 parade teams, and more than 2,000 performers in 46 performing square matrix teams set out from the People's Square and proceeded from west to east along the south side of Haibin Road. On the way, they gave targeted performances at 4 intersections, and finally entered Overseas Chinese Park for a centralized display of floats.

The event not only covered parade sections such as themed floats, folk culture, and art performance, but also arranged interactive sessions including the “Intangible Cultural Heritage Gifts”, “Food and Blessings”, “Best Instagram-worthy Floats”, and “Random Picture-taking”.There was a happy and peaceful festive atmosphere everywhere along the 6-kilometer parade route. The people along the route took out their phones and cameras to capture the exciting climax scenes. They jointly wished that China would be thriving and prospering day by day and Shantou would enjoy an even brighter future.

　　汕头举行国庆巡游活动

　　10月1日上午10时，2023年汕头市国庆巡游活动在一曲雄浑有力的《歌唱祖国》中拉开序幕。15辆花车、32支巡游队伍、46个表演方阵超2000名演出人员从人民广场出发，沿海滨路南侧自西向东行进，途中在4个路口定点表演，最后进入华侨公园进行花车集中展示。

　　活动涵盖主题花车、民俗文化、文艺展演等巡游板块，设置“非遗有礼”“美食送福”“花车打卡”“随手拍”等互动环节。全程约6公里的线路处处洋溢着喜庆祥和的节日气氛，沿途市民纷纷拿出手机、相机，拍下高潮迭起的精彩场面，共同祝福祖国繁荣昌盛，共同期盼汕头明天更美好。
