Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Home-ground Promotion Campaign for the World Standards Day 2023 under the theme of "Enabling a Better Life with Standards" was held in Shantou. On the venue, the conferring of certificates to the first batch of statistical analysis centers for the implementation of mandatory national standards, and the plaque-awarding ceremony for the first batch of pilot institutions for global standardization in Guangdong Province, were held. The plaques were awarded to 20 demonstration restaurants which met the "Bay Area Standards" for Chaozhou Cuisine, and the construction of Eastern Guangdong Standards Hall was started. The Eastern Guangdong Standards Hall would be built on the basis of Shantou’s "standard dining rooms". The standard dining rooms are located in Standard Alley, a century-old street (Ancient Chaoxing Street in the core area of Shantou Small Park). From 1950 to 1952, 12 Shantou chefs jointly offered the first Chaoshan cuisine training program at the site, using the combination of "Product" and "Standard" as the names of the dining rooms. After completion, the Eastern Guangdong Standards Hall will serve as an important venue for popularizing standardization knowledge as well as publicizing and promoting the "Bay Area Standards".

　　粤东标准馆在汕头启动建设

　　近日，以“标准赋能美好生活”为主题的2023年世界标准日广东省主场宣传活动在汕头举办。现场举行了首批国家强制性标准实施情况统计分析点证书颁发和首批广东省全域标准化试点单位授牌仪式，为20家潮菜“湾区标准”示范店进行授牌，同时启动粤东标准馆建设。粤东标准馆拟在我市“标准餐室”基础上建设。标准餐室位于百年老街标准巷（汕头小公园核心区老潮兴街），1950年至1952年间，12位汕头厨师联合在该址开办首届潮汕菜培训班，以“出品”和“标准”作为餐室名称。粤东标准馆建成后，将作为科普标准化知识，宣传和推广“湾区标准”的重要载体。
