Since 2020, Shantou has implemented the first round of three-year action plan for bringing in talents with a PhD or master’s degree, receiving excellent professionals from all over the world. Over the past 3 years, Shantou has brought in and hired 604 professionals with a PhD, and 3,840 professionals with a master's degree, which have become an important force powering the high-quality development of Shantou.

Recently, the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Shantou Municipal People’s Government focused on key areas, took well-targeted steps to launch a new round of three-year action plan for bringing in talents with a PhD or master’s degree, which would last from 2023 to 2025, for the purpose of supporting enterprises, hospitals, schools, scientific research institutions and other key sectors to bring in 360 professionals with a PhD, and 1,800 professionals with a master's degree. Eligible professionals with a PhD or master’s degree can continue to enjoy a series of preferential policies such as salary allowances, housing and living allowances, spousal placement, children’s education, appointment, and determination of professional titles.

　　汕头实施新一轮引进博（硕）士三年行动

　　2020年以来，我市实施第一轮引进博（硕）士三年行动计划，在全球范围内发出招贤纳士的汕头之声。3年来共引进到岗博士604名、硕士3840名，成为推动汕头高质量发展的重要力量。

　　近日，市委、市政府聚焦重点、精准发力，启动实施新一轮引进博（硕）士三年行动计划，计划从2023年至2025年，支持企业、医院、学校、科研机构等重点领域引进博士360名、硕士1800名。符合条件的博（硕）士，可继续享受薪酬补助、住房生活补助、配偶安置、子女入学、岗位聘用、职称评审等一系列优惠政策。
