From November 30 to December 3, Honorary Adviser Dr. Chen Guoguang and Chairman Liu Bingqing of the Thai Chenghai Fellow Association led a 50-member goodwill delegation of the Thai Chenghai Fellow Association to visit Shantou. Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the Shantou Municipal Committee, met and welcomed Chen Guoguang, Liu Bingqing and other members of the delegation.

During their stay in Shantou, the goodwill delegation of the Thai Chenghai Fellow Association visited the Small Park, Chenghai, Nan'ao and other places, experienced the writing of Qiaopi (correspondence and remittance documents from overseas Chinese), tasted Chaoshan characteristic food and Gongfu tea, and learned about new changes and achievements in their hometown Shantou. The members of the delegation said that the Thai Chenghai Fellow Association would continue to serve as the excellent disseminator of Chaoshan culture, the spokesperson for promoting Shantou overseas, and the participant in the high-quality development of their hometown Shantou, and contribute to promoting China-Thailand friendship and exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

　　11月30日至12月3日，由泰国澄海同乡会永远荣誉顾问陈国光博士、理事长刘秉青带队的泰国澄海同乡会友好访问团一行50人莅汕参观考察。市委书记温湛滨与陈国光、刘秉青一行会面，对访问团的到来表示欢迎。

　　在汕期间，泰国澄海同乡会友好访问团前往小公园、澄海、南澳等地参观考察，体验书写侨批，品尝潮汕特色小吃和工夫茶，了解家乡新变化、新成就。访问团成员纷纷表示，泰国澄海同乡会将继续当好潮汕文化的传播者、汕头海外推介的代言人、家乡高质量发展的参与者，为推动中泰友谊及各领域交流合作贡献力量。
