On the morning of December 5, the opening ceremony of the “China Sports Lottery” 2023 China National Surfing Championships (hereinafter referred to as the "Surfing Championships") was held on the Square of the Tropic of Cancer in Qing'ao Bay, Nan'ao County, Shantou City.

This Surfing Championships was hosted by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the People's Government of Shantou City, and organized by the Guangdong Provincial Social Sports, Sports Training and Competition Center, Shantou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and the People's Government of Nan'ao County. The Surfing Championships lasted for seven days from December 5 to 11, with 220 athletes in 17 teams from different provinces, municipalities and regions across China. The Surfing Championships consisted of four divisions: Open Men, Open Women, U18 and U15; and the competition system was divided into individual race, team race, and relay race, through which the laurels of short-board surfing, long-board surfing and other items would be determined.

　　全国冲浪锦标赛在汕头南澳开赛

　　12月5日上午，中国体育彩票·2023年全国冲浪锦标赛开幕式在我市南澳县青澳湾北回归线广场举行。

　　本次赛事由国家体育总局水上运动管理中心、汕头市人民政府主办，广东省社会体育和训练竞赛中心、汕头市文化广电旅游体育局、南澳县人民政府承办。比赛从12月5日至11日共7天，来自全国多个省市和地区的17支代表队220名体育健儿参赛。赛事分为男女子公开组、U18组和U15组，赛制分为个人赛、团体赛和接力赛，将决出冲浪短板、长板等多个项目的桂冠。
