On January 19-20, a Hong Kong delegation headed by Vice-Chairwoman Ms. Lam Suk Yi Mariana of the Federation of Hong Kong Shantou Community Organizations came to Shantou for business exchange and investigation and attended a meeting organized by Shantou Bureau of Commerce for further shoring up the economic and trade contact between Shantou and Hong Kong.

During the meeting officials from Shantou Bureau of Commerce, Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Experimental Zone, Shantou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone and the relevant industrial associations presented Shantou's "3-new 2-specialty and 1-greater" industrial development and investment promotion policies. Ms. Lam Suk Yi Mariana said Shantou's industries and foreign investments have seen rapid growth in recent years under the influence of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area development. The delegation will actively promote the exchange and cooperation between Shantou and Hong Kong, make full use of its advantage in resources and refer more Hong Kong entrepreneurs to Shantou to invest in local development.

　　1月19日至20日，香港汕头社团总会副主席林淑怡率香港交流访问团莅汕开展业务交流和考察，并参加由市商务局组织召开的座谈会，进一步加强汕港两地经贸往来。

　　座谈会上，市商务局、华侨试验区、综合保税区及相关产业协会分别介绍了我市“三新两特一大”产业发展和招商引资相关政策。林淑怡表示，在粤港澳大湾区的辐射作用带动下，汕头产业和外来投资近年快速增长。香港交流访问团将积极促进汕港两地的交流合作，发挥资源优势作用，引导更多香港企业家投资汕头，支持汕头发展。
