To entertain the citizens and exhibit Teochew-Shantou cultures during the season between the New Year's Day and the Lantern Festival, Shantou has planned more than 100 cultural events such as 2024 New Year Fireworks Displays, Yingge (Warriors) Dance New Year Performance, 2024 Lantern Festival, Intangible Cultural Heritage New Year Garden Party, to name only a few. The exciting cultural and tourist activities will further boost Shantou's tourism.

The much-expected fireworks display, a high-quality feast for the eyes with unique features, will be staged on February 11, 20:00 p.m. – 20:30 p.m., on the seas off Zhuchi Port. "Chinese warrior dance · Chaoyang Yingge – Chaoyang District 2024 Yingge Dance New Year Performance" will take place on the square of Wenguang Pagoda, Chaoyang District, at 9:00 a.m., February 14.

During the Spring Festival, the Zhenbang Food Street will remain open to diners, while the Small Park Food Fair will meet citizens and tourists in Juping Road, where stalls of Teochew-Shantou snacks and various delicacies from around the country will line up for them to choose from. From February 24 to March 11, 19:00 p.m. – 22:00 p.m., 2024 Lantern Festival will be organized in Small Park Historical and Cultural Neighborhood. And the districts and counties will also kick off their themed lantern festivals with lantern riddles around February 14.

Besides, "Rendezvous in Small Park – Teochew Maestros Concert", "Teochew Opera Stage · Friday Performance", "Our Holiday · Spring Festival" and many other New Year cultural events will treat the public with wonderful performances, while folk events like Nan'ao New Year Fish Lantern Parade, Chenghai Guanshan Village Big Pig Contest, etc., will be hosted their localities.

　　汕头组织百余项文旅活动迎新春

　　为丰富群众节日文化生活，彰显潮汕文化魅力，元旦起到元宵佳节，我市安排了2024年迎新春大型焰火晚会、英歌舞新春展演、2024年元宵花灯会、“非遗新春游园会”等百余项活动，丰富多彩的文旅活动将进一步带旺汕头的旅游市场。

　　备受市民游客欢迎的焰火晚会将于2月11日晚20:00-20:30在珠池港码头对开海面举行，届时将呈现一场高质量、有特色的视觉盛宴。“中华战舞·潮阳英歌——潮阳区2024年英歌舞新春展演活动”将于2月14日9:00在潮阳区文光塔广场举行。

　　春节期间，除了镇邦美食街继续以美食迎客外，“小公园美食节”将在居平路举行，以潮汕美食小吃为主、全国各地美食小吃为辅的特色美食摊位将为市民游客提供多样化选择。2月24日至3月11日19:00-22:00，2024年元宵花灯会将在小公园历史文化街区举行。各区县也将在2月14日前后举办主题元宵灯谜活动。

　　此外，“小公园之约——潮籍名家音乐会”“潮剧大观园·周五有戏”“我们的节日·春节”等多场新春文艺惠民演出将精彩上演，南澳县迎春渔灯赛会、澄海冠山赛大猪等民俗活动也将在城乡各地举办。
