On February 14 (the fifth day of the Chinese Lunar New Year), the 2024 Spring Festival Yingge Dance Show Parade was passionately held in Chaoyang District (a millennium ancient county), Shantou City. Nearly 1,000 dancers of 15 excellent Yingge Dance teams from Chaoyang District, Haojiang District, Puning City and other neighboring cities gathered in the streets of Chaoyang District, Shantou City. They performed the Yingge Dance (literally meaning the Songs of Heroes dance) to celebrate the Dragon Year Spring Festival with magnificent performance, offering a national intangible culture heritage feast for the people with rich Spring Festival atmosphere. The event attracted more than 150,000 spectators, and the Yingge Dance went viral in China.

Yingge Dance is a folk square performance art in Chaoshan area, with a history of hundreds of years. In recent years, Chaoshan Yingge Dance has become famous in China and even won popularity overseas with magnificent performance. The dance is hailed as the Songs of Heroes dance for its grand and heroic style, and varied formation. Besides, it is deeply sought after and loved by the citizens and tourists.

　　2月14日（大年初五），2024年春节英歌舞展演巡游活动在千年古县——汕头市潮阳区火热上演。潮阳、濠江及普宁等周边市、区共15支优秀英歌队、近千名“舞者”同台“斗舞”，火出圈的“中华战舞”再次燃动龙年新春，为市民游客献上“年味”十足的国家级“非遗”文化盛宴。活动共吸引观众超15万人，英歌舞冲上了全国热搜。

　　英歌舞是潮汕民间广场表演艺术，已有几百年历史。近年来，潮汕英歌舞闻名全国，出圈海外，其表演气势如虹、壮阔豪迈、阵法多变，被誉为“中华战舞”，深受广大群众游客追捧和喜爱。
