The long holiday during the Dragon Year Spring Festival has invigorated Shantou's cultural and tourism market. Tourists from all over the country have flocked to Shantou, kicking off their Lunar New Year with rich and colorful activities. According to the CCTV "News Live Room" column, Shantou ranked among China’s top 50 popular tourist destinations during the holiday. According to the mobile big data monitoring, during the 2024 Spring Festival, Shantou received a total of 5,071,598 tourists, with a year-on-year growth of 43.4%, Which reached a tourism revenue of RMB 4.37 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 133.03%.
During the Spring Festival, the cross-sector integration of consumption scenarios in culture, tourism, business, and catering in the cultural tourism market of Shantou had become increasingly evident, and diversified, personalized, and immersive consumption needs had been continuously met, presenting booming consumption scenarios everywhere.

春节期间,汕头文旅市场文、旅、商、餐等消费场景跨界融合越来越明显,多元化、个性化、沉浸式的消费需求不断被满足,处处呈现“热辣滚烫”的消费景象。
