Recently, a new park in Shantou East Coastal New Town made its debut. Some areas of Qiaoyun Park, which is the largest park in Shantou City, have been officially open to the public.

Qiaoyun Park is a riverside belt park which consists of five major areas: Overseas Chinese Culture Square, Maritime Silk Road Qiaoyun, Aromatic Garden, Ruilin Egret Habitat, Wetland Garden, and Children's Fun Park. The total area of Qiaoyun Park is 1.28 million square meters, with a steering-wheel-shaped square and a "walking + cycling" water friendly slow-walking system. The length of Qiaoyun Park currently open to the public is about 1 kilometer, with a green area of 68,000 square meters, and a water area of 113,000 square meters. There are also 2 parking lots and 14 charging piles available.

　　汕头规模最大公园全新“上线”

　　日前，汕头东海岸新城又新“上线”一公园，我市规模最大的公园——侨韵公园部分区域已正式对外开放。

　　侨韵公园为滨河带状公园，由侨文化广场、海丝侨韵、芳香花园、瑞林栖鹭、湿地花园和童趣乐园五大区域组成。园区总面积128万平方米，打造有方向盘广场和“步行+自行车”亲水慢行系统。目前公园率先开放区域长约1公里，绿地面积6.8万平方米，水域面积11.3万平方米，配套有2个停车场，并设置14个充电桩。
