On May 13, with strong feelings towards their ancestral homeland Shantou, 24 students of Teochew descent from the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and other universities visited the Sangpushan Campus of Shantou University, and conducted distinctive exchange activities with the students of Shantou University.

Although the members of the delegation were born or grew up overseas, they always cared about their hometown. During this "homecoming" trip, they got a glimpse of the cultural charm and beautiful scenery of Shantou, and enhanced their understanding of their hometown, and shortened the distance between them and their hometown. They all expressed that they would be good messengers of cultural exchanges between Shantou and Singapore, share the unforgettable experiences in Shantou to their family members and friends in Singapore, and invite more people to come to Shantou for a visit.

　　新加坡潮汕裔学生到汕头大学交流访问

　　5月13日，24名来自新加坡国立大学、南洋理工大学、新加坡管理大学、义安理工学院等高等学府的潮汕裔学生们，带着对祖籍地的深厚情感，走进汕头大学桑浦山校区，与汕大学子展开一场别开生面的交流访问活动。

　　访问团成员虽然出生或成长在海外，却始终心系家乡。此次“归家”之旅，大家领略到汕头的人文风采和秀美风光，增进了对家乡的了解，拉近了与家乡的距离，纷纷表示要当好两地文化交流的使者，把难忘的见闻分享给新加坡的家人朋友，邀请更多人来汕头走走看看。
