At the invitation of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Tio Chew Association of Thailand, and the Thai Chenghai Fellow Association, Shantou Chenghai Culture and Art Inheritance Center (Chenghai Teochew Opera Troupe) will go to Thailand to take part in the "Teochew Opera Art Performance and Cultural Exchanges", and perform Teochew Opera consecutively five days from June 12 to 16 at the Tio Chew Association of Thailand.

This is the first time in 59 years since its establishment that Chenghai Teochew Opera Troupe will participate in an art exchanges in Thailand. The troupe will organize 60 actors and actresses to participate in the performance, and it is carefully preparing some Teochew Opera classics, including Liu Mingzhu Causing a Stir in the Throne Room, Nectar and Jade Dew, the Twin Brothers of Wen Wu Xiang Qiu, the Taohua Village of Wen Wu Xiang Qiu, and the Cailou Ji, providing the people of Teochew descent in Thailand with the authentic Teochew Opera cultural feast.

　　汕头市澄海潮剧团应邀赴泰国展演潮剧

　　应泰国中华总商会、泰国潮州会馆、泰国澄海同乡会的邀请，汕头市澄海文化艺术传承中心（澄海潮剧团）将赴泰国参加“潮剧艺术展演文化交流”，于6月12日至16日在泰国潮州会馆开展连续五天的潮剧演出活动。

　　此次是澄海潮剧团建团59年来首次赴泰参加艺术交流活动，剧团将组织60名演职人员参演，并精心准备了《刘明珠闹金銮》、《琼浆玉露》、《文武香球》之孪生兄弟、《文武香球》之桃花寨、《彩楼记》等经典剧目，为泰国乡亲和观众送上地道的潮剧文化大餐。
