On July 24, under the guidance of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the launch ceremony of the Shantou · Taiwan (Yunlin) Integrated Development Week, organized by the Shantou Municipal Bureau of Taiwan Affairs, was held at the Sheraton Shantou Hotel.

The Integrated Development Week this time is a key program for exchanges with Taiwan in 2024 approved by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. It consists of ten major activities, covering exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields such as economy and trade, culture and tourism, youth, and grassroots, for the purpose of further deepening the integrated development of both Shantou and Taiwan. At the launch ceremony, the Guangdong Provincial Base for Exchanges with Taiwan in the Port-opening Area of Shantou Small Park was officially unveiled; Shantou Jinping District Basketball Association and Yunlin County Basketball Committee signed the letter of intent for paired exchanges between schools; Yunlin County Youth Workers' Federation and Shantou Youth Federation signed the intention agreement for exchange and cooperation; and Shantou Matsu Cultural Exchange Association and Yunlin County Matsu Youth Association signed the exchange agreement.

　　汕头·台湾（云林）融合发展活动周启动

　　7月24日，在广东省人民政府台湾事务办公室指导下，由汕头市台湾事务局主办的汕头·台湾（云林）融合发展活动周启动仪式在汕头龙光喜来登酒店举办。

　　本次活动周是国台办立项批准的 2024年对台交流重点项目，共设有十项主要活动，涵盖经贸、文旅、青年、基层等多领域的交流合作，进一步深化汕台两地融合发展。启动仪式上，小公园开埠区广东省对台交流基地正式揭牌；汕头市金平区篮球协会与云林县篮球委员会签订校际结对交流意向书；云林县青工总会与汕头市青年联合会签订交流合作意向协议；汕头市妈祖文化交流协会与云林县妈祖青年军协会签订交流协议书。
