From August 3 to 4, Shantou Municipal Health Bureau worked with Jinping District People’s Government to organize the traditional Chinese medicine cultural service and health night fair activities, for the purpose of providing a platform for the public to understand and experience the magic of traditional Chinese medicine.
During these activities, 12 special areas were set up, which included the Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy Experience Area, Dogs Days of Summer Plaster Experience Area, Eye Disease Prevention And Treatment Area, Traditional Chinese Medicine Physique Identification Area, Chinese Herbal Medicine Identification Area, Area for Appraising the Products Involving Food and Medicine Coming from the Same Source, Smart Traditional Chinese Medicine Experience Area, Traditional Chinese Medicine Science Education Area, Traditional Chinese Medicine Park Tour Area, and "24 Solar Terms and Health" Forum Area, comprehensively showcasing the achievements of Shantou’s traditional Chinese medicine development in the new era. On the venue, more than 50 national, provincial and municipal famous traditional Chinese medicine practitioners provided the public with free services such as checking the pulse for diagnosis, and offering health counseling. The public could personally experience traditional Chinese medicine therapies such as the small acupuncture scalpel, cupping, naprapathy, and ear acupoint bean pressing, and use the traditional Chinese medicine AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment systems to diagnose and treat themselves. These activities also attracted some distinctive traditional Chinese medicine companies to exhibit, allowing the public to witness the pharmaceutical process of traditional Chinese medicine. During these activities, two health night fair circuit stations were set up in grassroots communities including Chengnan Sub-district in Chaoyang District, and Xiaogongyuan Sub-district in Jinping District, assigning some traditional Chinese medicine practitioners from city hospitals to these grassroots communities to serve the public by conducting night clinics and offering traditional Chinese medicine health management services.

汕头市举办中医药文化服务暨健康夜市活动
8月3日至4日，市卫生健康局联合金平区人民政府举办中医药文化服务暨健康夜市活动，为市民提供一个了解和体验中医药魅力的平台。
活动设置传统中医疗法体验区、三伏贴体验专区、眼病防治专区、中医体质辨识区、中药材辨识区、药食同源产品品鉴区、智能中医体验区、中医药科普宣传区、中医药游园区和“24节气与健康”讲坛区等12个专区，全面展现了我市新时代中医药发展成果。50多位国家、省和市级名中医现场为市民提供免费的把脉问诊、健康咨询等服务，市民还可亲身体验小针刀、拔罐、中医推拿和耳穴压豆等传统中医疗法，运用中医AI辅助诊疗系统给自己诊断看病。活动也吸引了一批有特色的中药企业参展，让市民亲眼见证中医药的制作工艺。活动还在潮阳区城南街道、金平区小公园街道设置了2个健康夜市下基层巡回站，派出部分城市医院中医师下沉基层，以开展夜诊和中医药健康管理服务的方式服务基层群众。
