On August 1, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province (the Port Administration Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province) organized the Guangdong Office of the General Administration of Customs, Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, Shenzhen General Station of Immigration Inspection and Shantou Customs District to jointly set up a group to conduct the acceptance check on the preparations for the opening-up of Huadian Shantou Company's quay berth as a first-class port. After careful study and discussion, the acceptance check group unanimously agreed that Huadian Shantou Company's quay berth passes the acceptance check for its opening-up as a first-class port.

The quay berth is located in Haimen Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou City. The quay is 366 meters long and 26 meters wide, and it can berth the 70,000-ton bulk carrier. The quay is equipped with 2 ship unloaders, with an annual unloading capacity of 3.96 million tons.

　　华电汕头公司码头泊位通过一类口岸对外开放验收

　　8月1日，广东省商务厅（口岸办）组织海关总署广东分署、广东海事局、深圳边检总站和汕头海关联合成立验收组，对华电汕头公司码头泊位一类口岸对外开放准备工作进行验收。经认真研究讨论，验收组一致同意华电汕头公司码头泊位正式通过一类口岸对外开放验收。

　　该码头泊位位于我市潮阳区海门镇，码头总长度366米，宽26米，可停靠7万吨级散货船。码头配置2台卸船机，年接卸量达396万吨。
