On August 10, the closing ceremony of the study camp (Shantou) themed “Meet in China • Experience Shantou” was held in Guangdong Overseas Chinese Middle School. During their 20-day study tour, students from Italy’s Sino-Italian International School immersed themselves in experiencing intangible cultural heritage such as Yingge dance, Kung Fu Tea, Chao Opera, paper-cutting, and Qiaopi (correspondence and remittance documents from overseas Chinese). They visited the Port-opening Area of Shantou Small Park and other places, and had personal experience of the profound heritage and unique charm of Chaoshan culture.

At the closing ceremony, members of the Study Camp presented performances such as song choruses and poetry recitations, and demonstrated their learning achievements in calligraphy, Chinese martial arts, and Tai Chi Fan Dance and so on..The students from Guangdong Overseas Chinese Middle School sang a cheerful Italian song to express the real friendship between Chinese and Italian young students. During their stay in Shantou, the rich cultural courses and folk customs experience have enhanced the emotional and cultural identity of the new generation of overseas Chinese towards their ancestral country.  They said that they would share what they had seen and learned with their friends and relatives in Italy, and actively promote and inherit Chaoshan’s excellent traditional culture.

　　“相约中国·感知汕头”研学营结营

　　8月10日，“相约中国·感知汕头”（汕头）研学营结营仪式在广东汕头华侨中学举行。在为期20天的研学之旅中，来自意大利中意国际学校的学生沉浸式体验英歌舞、工夫茶、潮剧、剪纸、侨批等非遗文化，参观小公园开埠区等地，近距离感受潮汕文化的深厚底蕴和独特魅力。

　　结营仪式上，研学营成员带来歌曲合唱和诗朗诵等表演，并展示书法、中华武术、太极扇子舞等学习成果。华侨中学的学生们则以一首欢快的意大利歌曲唱响中意小伙伴之间纯真的友谊。在汕期间，丰富的文化课程和民俗体验增进了华裔新生代对祖籍国的情感认同、文化认同，大家纷纷表示，将把所见所学分享给意大利的亲朋好友，积极弘扬和传承潮汕优秀传统文化。
