Recently, the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Chinese Museums Association announced the complete list of the fifth batch of national museums assessed and rated. Among them, Shantou Revolutionary History Museum is rated as a national third-grade museum.

The Shantou Revolutionary History Museum was approved for establishment in July 2014. At present, the Museum has a total of 3,908 pieces/sets of various collections, and nearly 20,000 pieces/sets of historical information and related pictures.

　　汕头新增1家国家三级博物馆

　　日前，国家文物局、中国博物馆协会公布了第五批全国博物馆评估定级全部名单。其中，汕头市革命历史博物馆定级为国家三级博物馆。

　　汕头市革命历史博物馆于2014年7月获批成立，2014年9月正式对外挂牌。目前，该馆共有各类馆藏3908件/套，历史资料及相关图片近2万件/套。
