On the occasion of the 44^th anniversary of the establishment of Shantou Special Economic Zone, Shantou has released the theme of "Uniting Global Teochew People • Embracing Shantou" for the 22^th Teochew International Convention and the 10^th World Chaoshan Entrepreneurs Convention ("Two Grand Conventions"), fully expressing the joy and expectation of Shantou as the hometown of Teochew people for the return of the "Two Grand Conventions".

The 22^th Teochew International Convention and the 10^th World Chaoshan Entrepreneurs Convention will be held at Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center this autumn. Last September, the Preparatory Committee of the "Two Grand Conventions" launched the theme collection work, and since then has received nearly a thousand themes sent by Chaozhou community organizations, Chaoshan entrepreneurs and the public from more than 30 countries and regions. The Secretariat of the Preparatory Committee initially selected 148 items for study, and finally perfected and determined "Uniting Global Teochew People • Embracing Shantou" as the theme of the "Two Grand Conventions".

　　汕头“两大盛会”主题发布

　　在汕头经济特区建立44周年之际，我市发布第二十二届国际潮团联谊年会和第十届世界潮商大会的主题“潮聚·向汕”，充分表达汕头作为潮人故乡对“两大盛会”重回故里的喜悦和期盼。

　　第二十二届国际潮团联谊年会和第十届世界潮商大会将于今秋在汕头国际会展中心举办。去年9月，“两大盛会”筹委会启动主题征集工作，此后收到了来自30多个国家和地区的潮籍社团、潮商、群众发来的近千条主题。筹委会秘书处初步筛选出148条作研究，最后完善确定“潮聚·向汕”作为“两大盛会”主题。
