On August 28, the main structure of Times Square Station, the first work area of the 7th bidding section of the "One Ring, One Ray" Project of the Eastern Guangdong Intercity Railway, was successfully topped out. Times Square Station is the first underground station of Zhongshan Road Tunnel, and the site for the bidirectional starting of two shield machines for Zhongshan Road Tunnel. The successful topping-out of Times Square Station has laid a solid foundation for the smooth starting of subsequent shield machines.

Times Square Station is an underground three-floor side platform station with a main body length of 197.4 meters and a width of 29 meters. The total height of the standard segment structure is 24.7 meters, and the gross floor area is about 18,000 square meters. The Station is equipped with 2 entrances and exits, 1 emergency exit, and 2 sets of ventilation pavilions.

　　粤东城际铁路汕头时代广场站主体结构封顶

　　8月28日，粤东城际铁路“一环一射线”项目7标一工区时代广场站主体结构顺利封顶。作为中山路隧道首座地下车站，也是中山路隧道2台盾构机双向始发的场地，时代广场站的顺利封顶，为后续盾构顺利始发奠定了坚实基础。

　　时代广场站为地下三层侧式车站，车站主体长度为197.4米，宽度为29米，标准段结构总高度为24.7米，总建筑面积约1.8万平方米，车站共设置2个出入口、1个安全出口和2组风亭。
