On the evening of September 19, the final of the 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (11th Guangdong Province) Young and Middle-aged Drama Performance Competition (Chaozhou Opera Competition Session) kicked off at Shantou School of Culture and Arts, and the first Chaozhou Opera Instrumental Music Group Competition was held that night. The final lasted for four days. Eighty young and middle-aged actors from Shantou City, Jieyang City, and Chaozhou gave wonderful competitive performances including six Chaozhou opera highlights and one Chaozhou opera instrumental music performance, showcasing the artistic charm and talent scene of Chaozhou opera (reputed as "Flower of South China").

　　首届粤港澳中青年戏剧演艺大赛潮剧赛区决赛举行

　　9月19日晚，首届粤港澳（第十一届广东省）中青年戏剧演艺大赛（潮剧赛区）决赛在汕头文化艺术学校鸣锣开赛，当晚进行第一场潮剧器乐组比赛。本次决赛为期四天，来自汕头、揭阳、潮州三地的80位潮剧中青年演员，为观众呈现6场潮剧折子戏和1场潮剧器乐精彩竞演，展现“南国鲜花”潮剧的艺术魅力和人才景象。
