On September 26, the 2024 China Digital Economy Innovation Development Conference was grandly opened at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Focusing on new trends, new hotspots and new developments in the digital economy, the Conference aims to build an exchange and cooperation platform for partnering with overseas Chinese digital talents, promote the in-depth integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and create an important window for international cooperation and innovative development of China’s digital economy.

At the opening ceremony, China's first batch of DRCA certificates for compliance with data rights certification and authorization standards were released. The Cross-border Data Rights Certification and Authorization Service Center, the South China International E-commerce Live-streaming Hub, and the Digital Trade Ecosystem Cooperation Themed “Strengthening Industrial Chains through 1,000 Enterprises” were launched. The Chief Data Officer System Construction Workstation (Shantou) and the Digital Human Application Joint Laboratory of the Internet Society of China were inaugurated. The naming of the "Shantou Digital Number One" Satellite and the "China's Digital Economic Development Index 2024" were released. Some digital economy projects,which are to be implemented in Shantou with a total investment of RMB 17 billion, were signed in a centralized manner.

　　9月26日，2024中国数字经济创新发展大会在汕头国际会展中心隆重开幕。大会围绕数字经济发展新趋势、新热点、新动向，着力搭建聚数联侨交流合作平台，促进数字经济和实体经济深度融合，打造我国数字经济国际合作创新发展重要窗口。

　　开幕式上启动了中国首批数据确权授权标准符合性DRCA证书发布暨跨境数据确权授权服务中心、华南国际电商直播港、“千企强链”数字贸易生态合作；为首席数据官制度建设工作站（汕头）、中国互联网协会数字人应用联合实验室授牌；发布“汕头数字一号”卫星命名、《中国数字经济发展指数报告（2024）》；集中签约一批落地汕头的数字经济项目，总投资额170亿元。
