The "China Edible Bird's-nest Hub" project is a result of the Shantou friendly delegation's visit to Malaysia and Cambodia in August this year. It has made initial progress. The first batch of 1,000 kilograms of Malaysian edible bird's nest have been imported to Shantou and are being sold in various stores of Kangrun Pharmacy.

Recently, a delegation from the Bird Nests Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia and the Malaysia Edible Bird's-nest Processing Factory Association visited Shantou, and inspected the supporting facilities of the China Edible Bird's-nest Hub. Through on-site visits and symposiums, they conducted in-depth discussions on matters related to project implementation. Shantou Municipal People’s Government and Shantou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone have stated that they will strongly support the implementation of the "China Edible Bird's-nest Hub" project, fully take advantage of the comprehensive bonded policies and port advantages, optimize the edible bird's nest import process, and help enterprises build a complete edible bird's nest industry chain. Meanwhile, they will take the "China Edible Bird's-nest Hub" project as a platform, further deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Shantou and Southeast Asia, and promote the high-quality development of Shantou's commerce and trade.

　　马来西亚考察团莅汕考察交流

　　“中国燕窝港”项目作为今年8月汕头市友好代表团访问马来西亚和柬埔寨取得的一项成果，目前取得初步进展，首批1000公斤马来西亚燕窝已进口到汕头，并陆续在康润药房各门店上架销售。

　　近日，马来西亚燕窝商联合总会、马来西亚燕窝加工厂公会访问团回访汕头，参观考察燕窝港相关配套设施，通过实地走访、召开座谈会，对项目落地相关事宜进行深入探讨。汕头市政府和汕头综保区表示，将大力支持“中国燕窝港”项目落地，充分利用综保政策和临港优势，优化燕窝进口流程，助力企业打造完整的燕窝产业链条。同时，以“中国燕窝港”项目为平台，进一步深化汕头与东南亚的经贸合作，推动汕头商贸高质量发展。
