Recently, the results of selecting Guangdong Province’s medical reform innovation typical cases in 2023 were announced. After rigorous and scientific selection processes, 10 typical innovation cases and 15 typical innovation fostering cases were finally selected. Among them, Shantou’s “Teochew Medical Think Tank Pooling the ‘Strongest Brains’ to Promote the Construction of Regional Medical Hub” was selected as a typical innovation fostering case.

Shantou Committee of Teochew-origin Medical Experts Not Living in Shantou (referred to as “Teochew Medical Think Tank”) is Shantou’s first high-level talent pool composed of Teochew-origin medical experts not living in Shantou in the medical and health care industry. Its members come from provincial and ministerial major hospitals, high-level medical and health institutions or important associations, covering more than 20 specialties such as cardiovascular, digestive, and respiratory. Through the “Teochew Medical Think Tank” platform, Shantou has formed a number of major projects with good results and strong driving force, and accelerated the creation of a regional medical hub, for the purpose of protecting the health rights and interests of the people of Shantou and even eastern Guangdong at a higher level.

　　汕头潮医智库入选广东医改创新典型培育案例

　　近日，2023年广东医改创新典型案例推选活动结果公布。经过严谨科学的遴选程序，最终确定了10个创新典型案例和15个创新典型培育案例。其中，汕头市“潮医智库汇聚‘最强大脑 ’助推区域医疗高地建设”入选创新典型培育案例。

　　汕头市在外潮籍医学专家委员会（简称“潮医智库”）是汕头医疗卫生行业首个由在外潮籍医学专家组成的高层次人才库，成员来自省部属大医院、高水平医疗卫生机构或重要社团，涵盖心血管、消化、呼吸、肝胆胰、胃肠、肾脏等20多个专业。通过“潮医智库”平台，汕头市形成一批效果好、带动力强的重大项目，加快打造区域医疗高地，在更高水平上保障汕头乃至粤东人民的健康权益。
